~Up on the Roof Top~

Harrison was SO excited to help Scott with the Christmas Lights today. He even let him go on the roof! I was incredibly nervous, my brother and sister in law came by they were going to call CPS...LOL....The guys did a great job on the lights, and we are so ahead of the game with decorating and shopping for Christmas...Yipee! :)

~A Day of Celebrations~

What a fun filled day on Thursday! We had a YUMMY Thanksgiving Dinner at Eric & Karen's House! (thanks guys for hosting it) We celebrated MY BEAUTIFUL Mom's Birthday and My LOVING parents Anniversary.....Here are some fun pics from the day.

~Salty's~

So today Madison had her Volleyball Party at Salty Senorita! We arrived late due to me having a real fun training at the district office from 4-6pm.... However, I walked in the door and Maddy was ready to go, she was not missing this party. So off we went and got there and the kids hit the ground running. They love going there and playing volleyball, chasing stray cats, running around the outside area.... Coach Cherie works there so we got a sitting area right next to the volleyball court. It was a very nice time, Cherie and Rob the coaches are very kind people who give their time so freely, to help the girls become better players...Maddy can't wait for the next Volleyball season. Her Coach Cherie and Scott have teamed up to coach Girls Softball in January 2009 through the City of Peoria... Should be alot of fun! The girls are excited their Dad is Coaching!

~Calm Sunday~

So Maddy had an awesome time at her Encampment and got home after 9pm, Scott played 4 softball games yesterday and said today he is feeling the pain throughout his entire body,(we try to remind him he is not 25 any more :) Carley won her last Volleyball Game! Who Hoo. They decided to have the Volleyball Party last night up at the Park in our Neighborhood at 4pm. So her coach, actually coaches two teams so it was one big party with about 24 girls and all the parents. We had a really fun time playing Volleyball against the girls and we ate, had an awards ceremony and finally headed home about 8:45pm.. SO TODAY we slept in until 8:45 (awwwww) watched movies and football all day....Did some laundry and just actually relaxed for once it was heavenly!!!!!

~OUCH~

So $69+ $61 + $79 = a NEW Dryer......Well it should....The heating element went out on the Dryer this week...Scotty called our Maytag Man... and spoke with the Maytag scheduler, and she said she could get someone out this week. She also communicated the $69 service call charge will apply toward the labor costs...NOT...So Jim proceeded to arrive at 4:01pm figured out it was the heating element at 4:09pm(which we already knew) walked outside got the new one plugged it in to the dryer and put the back, back on and came out to collect his $209+ tax....Nothing applied toward the service call and I was SHOCKED. I asked Jim why he did not communicate that the dryer would be as much as buying a new dryer...He just smiled and said well its FIXED...2 things happened here...I kept the old heating element so in the future Scott can replace for $61.00 (all you do is plug it in) and Scott had a nice CHAT with the Manager at Maytag, and was given a warm fuzzy...I think all my appliances are having the 10 year ITCH. I gotta get out NOW....LOL

~Scattered Saturday~

So having a large family has its PROS AND CONS.....Tomorrow we are all heading in different directions... Carley has a Volleyball game and then we are heading out for a day of fun, movie, pedicures, and shopping at SFS.....Scott and Harrison are heading to Gilbert for a Softball Tournament at Field of Dreams all day. Scott is so excited to go play at the $40 million dollar complex. He has played at the one in Palm Springs. It is really a neat park and each field is replicated after a Major League Field. Maddy Moo is heading to Encampment with her Brownie Troop....A fun day of crafts,hiking,songs,adventure and more....She is driving up with her leader and my friend Patty. I am sad I am not going, they only allowed 4 adults per troop since troops all over the valley are going.... :( Tucker will be basking in the sun again, working on his tan!

~Winter Intermission~

CCV Soccer has officially gone on Winter Break. Harrison's soccer team "Gladiators" finished their last game for the first part of the season this past Saturday. A close game up until the end....We lost by 1 goal.....However, we pick up in January and the boys have shown such great improvement, we will surely improve our record in the second half of the season. Go Harrison, you are doing so well on your team...Keep up the great work......... :)

~Oops He Did it Again~

So just like the Britney Spears song goes...."Oops I did it again" My beloved Hubby got into an accident on the 101. Yes he is okay! Some minor pain in the midsection but our car along with two others took the real pain and suffering. We just got the last accident off our records in March of this year...We were so excited that our car insurance would go down....However, when two people try to change lanes at the same time, something is bound to happen especially on the 101...Thank God Scott is okay...We are waiting on State Farm to give us the Repair Costs...:(

~Date Night~ :)

Yippee.....Scott and I had date night last night! We went over to Westgate, and actually went shopping, got a few Christmas Presents...Scott even scored some stuff too. Love the shops over there! We decided we needed to get out more, we were so shocked HOW much they have built up that area...We went and saw Pride and Glory as you can see it came out on Oct 24th, like I said we do not get out much..LOL.... So the movie I would highly recommend to those of you with a not so weak stomach. I am not so much into the blood, and fights but the movie had a good plot but I did find myself turning away alot.....We were going to go get my favorite SUSHI at this sushi bar in Westgate afterwards but the Movie was over 2 1/2 hours long...So we passed it was late.

~Trimming the FAT~

Nothing gets pass our kids! So recently we have decided that we are ready to steal a home, since the market has HUGE homes for a fraction of the cost. So lately we have been not going out as much for dinner (eating at home) we cancelled our Blockbuster Online Membership, Our kids have hit Auto-Debit for months on Club Penguin so we put a stop to that and cancelled after their next run! We are spending less, utilizing coupons at the grcoery store (did you all see the FRYS deals right now) religously trying to do the laundry from 9 to 9, and there is much more we are doing to cut costs. So we have really strayed away from drinking Pepsi, Mtn Dew.....Any Pop period.... However the other day we were craving a cup of java from STARBUCKS....Well the second we started to talk about it our kids cut us off at the pass and were like " we can't afford Starbucks we are saving remember" Awwww we remember. I miss the days when things went over there heads and they did not undersand the full extent of things we were deciding to do..LOL :)

~What Blog~

So yesterday I got a call from my friend Orli, who I got my MAED with! Orli, Jen and I were the three musketeers during our long program at the U of P. We started in Scottsdale and wound up in Phoenix by the airport taking classes. During our schooling I had Avery, Orli got married, and bought a new home in Desert Ridge and Jen bought a Condo. So when I started my blog I sent all my family and friends my Blog Info....Well Orli is now juggling being a new Mom and being back in the workforce...She asked How I was? And said "I am not sure how you do it, I have one and I am working and feel completely overwhelmed"! "You have four, your working and your kids are in activities".... I just laughed because my life is crazy but I would not have it any other way. I asked if she went on my bolg and she was like what blog???? So while we were on the phone she saw it and loved it. She has family out of state and asked me to help her set it up.....I hope I can remember....... :( I am busy and tired, sometimes I feel like my brain cells are exiting at a very fast rate......LOL

So you all know that Carley has done competitive cheer for over 5 years! And this year we took time off for a season, because it gets pretty intense (travel, competitions, practice, etc...) Well I have to admit the season opener is this Saturday for DSE and I am sad we are not there! My friend Robyn called today to give me the brackets and times. How Crazy am I? Here I needed the year to BREATHE and get life in order and I am yearning for that music, choreography, and the team competitions.....Plus I loved hanging with my girlfriends all day and shooting the breeze! Good Luck Storm...... Good luck McCall and Mason, we know you all will ROCK!!!!!!! No we are not going on Saturday.. Soccer,Volleyball,Birthdays and Church........Full day for me. :)

~What A Day~

Harrison & Madison woke up with a room full of balloons in each of their bedrooms, plus some signs. Dad got up early and bought Maddy a dozen roses and Harry got a balloon bouquet with his favorite guy Sponge Bob. The 1st graders had a field trip today to the Fire Station. Fire Pal Jeff is one of Madison's FAVORITE people.... All the Fireman sang to the kids today! They were so excited. After Harrison's Soccer Practice at CCV, we headed to the twins favorite restaurant RED ROBIN...YUM! Had some dinner and the crew there sang and they got a sundae! My little kiddo's 7 it is SO hard to believe...Maddy and that Bow today... she is so funny! :)

So all the family came over on Sunday to celebrate the twins 7th Birthday! Like always a CRAZY night at the Paul Home. Their birthday is actually 11/12/08... Tomorrow! My kids actually get three celebrations when they have their birthdays. The family party, the friend party and then Scott and I have a TRADITION passed down from my family, that we do a One on One, Scott with the Girls and me with Harrison. We go to dinner and then a surprise event that is in town. The kids love this and they call it their date night with Dad and Mom. Harry and Maddy got some awesome gifts. Harrison got a Pokemon DS game, Soccer Nets and a NEW BIKE to name a few.... Madison got HEELYS.....A Pink Jammer, and an IPOD.... She was ecstatic all night about her gifts. Thanks everyone for coming and being a part of their Big Day! We love you all!!!!!!!!
