Feeling a little like eeyore today!Moms aren't supposed to be sick. Ever. Apparently if we loved our kids properly, we'd be immune to germs! I'm sick. Oh, nothing major -- we're not talking about a chronic disease or even something respectable like pneumonia -- just a garden-variety virus. It's enough to make me miserable and irritable but not enough to make it acceptable for me to simply opt out of some of my responsibilities. However today my kids made me laugh......
Carley said " Mom since your sick WHY don't you take us to McDonalds so you don't have to make us lunch" (the kids had early release) She always works the angles.....
Harrison said " Mom I will just play Video Games so you can sleep and rest" Awww Harry even when I am not sick that is his first LOVE!
Madison said " Mom since your sick WHO is going to cook us dinner" I told her Daddy is very capable... her comment back is "I hate Mamwich" (sp) Which when I am sick or gone he makes...Ha nothing gets past her!
Avery said " Mommy u have my blanket" Ugh that was after a day at daycare, it always smells like her classroom... But she was too cute, I was lying in bed and she offered me her SMELLY Blanket! Unconditional Love at it's best....
