~This One's For You~

So I am always blogging about our kids, their activities and our kids. Scotty this one is for you baby! So he may Play in 3 Fantasy Football Leagues, Play Softball with his Buddies once in a great moon, Play PlayStation with Harry for HOURS on end, And is stuck in the 70's and 80's when it comes to music, He has NEVER cleaned our gas stove in the KITCHEN (1998), However he will jump on the Trampoline for HOURS with the kids, HE loves to GRILL ALL his food, and he is a HOMEMAKER at HEART, He can Watch Re-Runs of Steven Segal and still get excited by the ACTION, and finally he is the biggest KID I know, and has a heart of gold. Scott thank you for all you are to this family! You have to be the most selfless person I know. WE LOVE you and appreciate you SO VERY MUCH! You are the glue that holds our family together. P.S. He still loves Mash, Barry Manilow, Dots, PBJ, he eats Leftovers, and Most of all he ROCKS! SWAK..

~Ice Cream Social~

Tonight the kids had their Ice Cream Social/Book Fair/Basket Raffle at their school. I for some reason can't say "NO" so instead of mingling and talking to friends, I told my girlfriends in the PTA I would watch the baskets and take tickets. So Scott and the kids had ice cream, put tickets into the Raffle. Harrison REALLY wanted a basket that was done up in all BOYS STUFF! He must have placed all his tickets in there! He was really sad when he did not win but I think there must have been over 150 tickets in that raffle...The kids enjoyed hanging with their friends, Scott talked to all our friends and I actually got some chit chats in with friends/teachers when they came to the baskets to drop off their tickets! It was a fun evening, and I am now ready for bed.. :)

~Proud Parents~

We are so PROUD of the kids, first quarter is over and they all did exceptionally well....Carley made the Honor Roll! ( Her teacher said she should have made Principals list but she likes to chit chat like her Daddy in class) Maybe next quarter! Harry & Maddy got all "E's"...No letter grades yet but the E's equate to A's..... All of their teachers communicated that they were pleasures to have in their classes! Music to a parents ears....Paul Kiddo's GREAT JOB.....
WE ARE SO VERY PROUD OF YOU ALL!
Our lil Einsteins!

Smart but Sassy!

Smarty Pants!

If those eye's alone could earn those grades! Ha...

~Decisions...Decisions~

So tonight at Harrison's soccer practice this lady walks by with an adorable Golden Retriever Pup.Tucker has been begging us for a female companion since last Christmas. He even put a call into Santa for a live present under the tree this year. I just don't know? My life is so crazy with 4 kids, two working adults, 8 extra curricular activities the kids are involved in, Scott would still like to adopt a boy (Age 4 or 5)when Avery turns three, the girls want a small dog they can dress and carry in a purse, Harry wants a turtle for Christmas....And I actually asked the lady for the # where she purchased her gorgeous Golden! I think I need a Mental Health Day to think about all of this! :)
Santa put us on the Naughty List! LOL
They are such cute dogs!

Dad tried to do some jumps and landed on his bum, it was kinda funny....All in all it was good 30 minutes outside....Maddy missed out on a little time she was hanging with some friends after school!

~Ice,Ice Baby~

The Icebreakers swept their opponents in three straight.....Carley actually only served once
in the second game and scored five points for the team (Peoria only lets you serve five points and then the ball goes to the opponent). She started the game in the last rotation position and since her team served so well only five girls served in the first game! She started the second and never served again in the third game... Such a clean sweep!

~Snuggle Bug~

Avery does not miss a beat, even when it comes to my blog! She is always going"where is my picture mommy" and since she is currently not enrolled in any activities, I will gloat about her sweet home life. Avery at least 4 out of 7 days during the week finds her way in the middle of the night to my bed. She is such a little snuggle bug, but like her Father does not like to have the covers on, which is polar opposite of me, I am always cold and LOVE my comforter. Each morning Scott and I will say "Avery why are you in our bed" her comment is always the same
" The Cat in the Hat is under my bed" ...LOL.... SHE LOVES to watch the Mike Myers Version of The Cat in the Hat. In that movie the kids hide under the bed and the Cat is there, then our favorite Avery line is when she quotes from the movie (my 2 year old already quotes movies like her father) "A monster WHERE".... So then she says sometimes tell us the Monster is under her bed! She is so darn cute!

~Moms aren't suppose to get sick~

Feeling a little like eeyore today!

Moms aren't supposed to be sick. Ever. Apparently if we loved our kids properly, we'd be immune to germs! I'm sick. Oh, nothing major -- we're not talking about a chronic disease or even something respectable like pneumonia -- just a garden-variety virus. It's enough to make me miserable and irritable but not enough to make it acceptable for me to simply opt out of some of my responsibilities. However today my kids made me laugh......

Carley said " Mom since your sick WHY don't you take us to McDonalds so you don't have to make us lunch" (the kids had early release) She always works the angles.....

Harrison said " Mom I will just play Video Games so you can sleep and rest" Awww Harry even when I am not sick that is his first LOVE!

Madison said " Mom since your sick WHO is going to cook us dinner" I told her Daddy is very capable... her comment back is "I hate Mamwich" (sp) Which when I am sick or gone he makes...Ha nothing gets past her!

Avery said " Mommy u have my blanket" Ugh that was after a day at daycare, it always smells like her classroom... But she was too cute, I was lying in bed and she offered me her SMELLY Blanket! Unconditional Love at it's best....

~I Love This Saying~

Your life is like a coin, you can spend it any way you wish; but you can spend it only once.
I love blogging it is so interesting to see what people write and post. I found this cute saying on a blog and just smiled because it is SO true!

~What is two more kids?~

So my girlfriend Lora is currently enrolled in the Scottsdale Culinary Institute and is getting her credentials to be a Pastry Chef.....Today she had to go to a Seminar downtown after her schooling. So she called to see if I could watch her Kiddo's, with some hesitation because she thought that might be too much. Six kids.... I had to chuckle because once you have four kiddo's anything after that is a cakewalk......O & V we had so much fun with you all today...... We would love to have you over again soon.... :)

~Hollister~

Okay, so we let our 9 year old get a few things at Hollister every now and then, some of the clothes are really cute! However,WE LOVE,LOVE, LOVE the PERFUME there....Ryder is our FAVORITE followed by Malaia! Well it was one of my friends daughters birthday, Amanda is turning twelve, so we wanted to buy her a gift card to Hollister for her B-day so she could go shop! We went up to the counter and saw some DUDES and BETTYS standing behind the counter working and asked to purchase a gift card. The Betty behind the counter said" All the gift cards are right on this counter". Well let me tell you we were a little shocked by our choices. We asked the Betty if she just had a card that said "Hollister" she replied "No"....So below is one of the cards we had to choose from along with 4 others that had some pretty sexy/racy pics on them. We got the one with a betty giving a dude a little peck on the cheek, they looked like young teens...However, we pondered for a little bit because we were not too sure what our friend Tricia would think.? Luckily, she ran into the same issue last Christmas buying for her niece...:) Hollister if your going to cater to the young teens use a little discretion... Maybe a cute puppy in a jacket....Ha :)
One of our lovely choices......

~HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRACY~

Happy Birthday Tracy! I know you are wishing for that beer, however that miracle growing inside of you is more of a Foo Foo Drinker! (jk) So you will just have to wait until Feb 2009 to enjoy your Birthday Beer! Hope you enjoyed your party last night. We LOVE you.....How old are you anyway?
